Dr Nomusa Dlamini
Dr Nomusa Dlamini is a Principal Research Scientist at CSIR, Biosciences. She has a PhD in Food Science and Technology from Texas A&M University, and in addition, also holds BSc Biochemistry and Biological Sciences and MSc Food Sciences degrees. She has done research in various aspects of agro processing and food science and technology, including food product development, nutritional analysis, processing of indigenous food products, and shelf life extension of fresh produce. Recently she has been involved on a project on developing nutritious and nutraceutical ingredients from South Africa's indigenous biodiversity.
