Dr Tawanda Muzhingi

Tawanda Muzhingi is a nutritional biochemist, food scientist and flagship leader working with the International Potato Center in Nairobi, Kenya. Dr. Muzhingi is an adjunct Professor in the Department of Food, Nutrition and Bioprocessing at North Carolina State University, USA. At CIP, Tawanda supports programs with food science, nutrition, value-addition, post-harvest research, technology transfer and capacity building through the Food and Nutritional Evaluation Laboratory, a regional analytical platform that includes a test kitchen and sensory laboratory. Tawanda worked at Penn State University, the United States Department of Agriculture, Tufts University, the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center and the University of Zimbabwe.
