Prof Abednego Mfanufikile Dlamini

Prof Abednego Mfanufikile Dlamini holds a PhD, 1993-1997 from the University of Western Sydney, in Dairy Biotechnology, specifically bioprocessing. He is a Professor at the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Eswatini. Prof Dlamini is also the substantive director of the Institute of Post Graduate Studies at the University of Eswatini and the chairman of the National Biosafety Advisory Committee for the Kingdom of Eswatini. He has over 30 years of university teaching, research and consultancy experience. He has authored and co-authored over 90 publications in refereed journals, local and international conference proceedings and consultancy reports all dealing with various aspects of Agriculture, livestock production and biotechnology. He has supervised over 100 B.Sc. and Post Graduate Students’ research projects and is currently working on the hygienic safety of UHT milk and traditional fermented milk. He has also served as an external examiner in several Universities in the region.
