Namibia is very dry country with rainfall ranging from 100-400 mm during its raining season. Agriculture in Namibia is facing challenges and demands focus on yield improvement, biodiversity, soil preservation, water conversation, climate change and food safety. Our mission is to help stakeholders face these challenges by producing plants from tissue of the desired plant in an artificial nutrient medium under a controlled environment. Plant tissue culture generates multiple copies of the plant in a very short duration. These can be e.g. medicinal plants, fruits and vegetable crops.
