Nailoke Pauline Kadhila

Nailoke is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Namibia and the Head of Zero Emissions Research Initiatives (ZERI) Division at the Multidisciplinary Research Centre (MRC). She is currently the Coordinator of the NEPAD/SANBio Mushroom Node and a member of the SANBio Steering Committee. Ms Kadhila is an academic with interests in Mycology, Microbiology, Molecular biology, Agronomy and horticulture. Her main interest is in Mycology, especially on the Basidiomycetes where most her research is based on. Current research is on the Namibian indigenous mushrooms, with emphasis on those of medicinal significance. The ZERI Division that she led is responsible for trainings on mushroom cultivation.
